Hempfield graduate Aaron Herr has earned a spot with the Minor League Baseball Reds’ Triple-A club in Louisville. He split time between Louisville and Double-A Chattanooga last season.

Juan Melo, who was with the Barnstormers in May of 2005, is headed to Harrisburg to play for the Nationals’ Double-A club.

I know. I haven’t figured out what happened to him, yet.

The Norfolk people told me he’s not headed to Triple-A and he’s not on Double-A Bowie’s roster. Players sometimes get shifted around until the last minute, so I’ll keep checking up on it.
