Happy to be here

In Wednesday’s New Era, there will be a column about Bo Hart and a story about Frank Klebe’s first day as manager.
Hart talked about his magical rookie season with the St. Louis Cardinals and what it feels like to be in the Atlantic League.
“I wasn’t going to take anything for granted,” said Hart, who played for the Cardinals in 2003 and 2004. “In baseball the gods get you whenever you start getting complacent. I treated every day like it was going to be my last in the big leagues. Obviously, I wish it would have worked out differently. I wanted to get more of a shot.”
Hart is bringing the right attitude to the Barnstormers. Although he would prefer to be in affiliated ball, he showed no signs of being disappoined during practice Tuesday. He was excited to be back on the field.
“I’m here to move on,” he said. “But I’m not bitter if I’m here all year. I just want to keep playing.”
Hart was a fan favorite during his time in the majors because of his relentless hustle and infectious enthusiasm. He plans to bring that same approach to Lancaster.
What should Barnstormers fans expect of their new second baseman?
“They should expect me to play the game hard, play the game right and have some fun,” Hart said. “They’re going to get everything I have.”

I am really looking forward to see Bo play this season. He is going to be a huge addition to the team this year and I see him being a fan favorite!
Even though Travis will be missed, it looks like they have replaced him with the same type of “fan favorite” personality.
