VS LONG ISLAND DUCKS
Jose Espinal (0-1, 3.38 ERA) vs.
Josh Stevens (9-8, 4.05 ERA)
The Ducks and Barnstormers end their season series tonight. It’s always interesting to see how they fare against one another because they have such differing philosophies on building their rosters. Long Island, and its big-league approach, is 10-7 against Lancaster this season. [...]

VS LONG ISLAND DUCKS
Lance Davis (7-3, 5.13 ERA) vs.
Barry Armitage (2-1, 4.99 ERA)
Another day, another lefty on the mound against the Barnstormers. This is the 11th lefthander Lancaster has faced in the past 12 games, which borders on preposterous. The Barnstormers counter with Armitage, a reliever making his second start. This was originally Rob [...]

VS LONG ISLAND DUCKS
Bill Pulsipher (NR) vs.
James Lira (7-6, 6.50 ERA)
A few things have changed since the last time the Barnstormers played the Ducks on July 21. Frank Klebe is no longer Lancaster’s manager. Jose Offerman is known more for swinging at opposing pitchers than baseballs. Reggie Taylor is being referred to as [...]

AT YORK REVOLUTION
Pete Hartmann (NR) vs.
Josh Stevens (8-7, 4.13 ERA)
The final series between the Barnstormers and Revolution is here and it doesn’t mean much to Lancaster in the standings. The Barnstormers are six games behind first-place Somerset. All that’s left for the defending champs is a chance for the Community Cup – Lancaster trails [...]

AT BRIDGEPORT BLUEFISH
Manny Ulloa (6-6, 4.02 ERA) vs.
Barry Armitage (3-1, 4.82 ERA)
The Barnstormers try to salvage a split of this four-game series tonight. Armitage is making just his third start since 2002. The righthander is thrust into emergency duty because Lancaster is playing its seventh game in five days. Ulloa, meanwhile, is one of [...]

AT BRIDGEPORT BLUEFISH
Matt Beech (10-7, 4.66 ERA) vs.
Rob Henkel (6-8, 5.24 ERA)
Despite playing two games that went 19 innings and lasted 6 hours and 48 minutes Thursday night, the Barnstormers went nowhere. They are still two games under .500 and they still trail York by four games in the loss column. Failing to sweep [...]

Nick Bierbrodt (0-2, 7.36 ERA) vs.
Chris Brock (0-0, 6.38 ERA)
Another doubleheader. If you’re counting, this is No. 8. There is good news for the Barnstormers. They defeated both of these starting pitchers when Lancaster visited Bridgeport on Aug. 11-12. The Barnstormers have only [...]
