Baseball America recently published its indy league postseason awards. Two Atlantic League players, Newark’s Javier Colina and Bridgeport’s Jesse Hoorelbeke, were named first team all stars. Three others, including the Barnstormers’ Derrick DePriest, were chosen for the second team.

Today is the one-year anniversary of the Barnstormers’ first championship. They defeated the Bridgeport Bluefish 5-2 at Clipper Magazine Stadium on a crisp Sunday night.
