But theres a good number of players who are resigned to the fact that they won't get a call up but are not ready to hang up the cleats yet. NO ONE WANTS TO BE IN THE ATLANTIC LEAGUE. Tommy Herr is the guy and he will make 64K with incredible incentives for public appearances, ticket sales, and wins. Tom is a VERY smart guy. I him on out bench and wouldn't be disappointed if he came back. But it's obvious he'd be here on a year by year basis - always looking for the proverbial greener grass on the other side of the fence. Again - not hating him becuase he'd like a better position. Just wanting someone who would be interested in building a team and staying with it for the long term.
