Do you ever sleep? I’m looking forward to looking at it tomorrow.
Jason,
The blog will be designed by the end of the night so you can get the link set up before the game tomorrow…I will let you know exactly when it is done. Got tickets to all 3 weekend games and looking forward to some great baseball.
As always. Nice job.
Dang, Last night I read on the ’stormers website that they’re signing autographs before the game Sunday.
We already planned a trip to Philly that day!
Doh!
I guess that means my kids will have to work that much harder post-game during the season…those li’l autograph hounds.
Or….and I’m just thinkin’ outloud here…I could set up a Barnstormers party/picnic at my house and invite all the players/coaches (and beat writers, of course). I just got me a new grill so I’m sure we’d have a good time.
Hmm…I gotta go call my wife…
And on a totally unrelated note, my kids LOVE to say “Boots Day”. They’re really lookin’ forward to getting his cards signed!
Oh….bloggers would be invited too…can’t forget the bloggers.
Hey everybody..just checked the seating chart…there are only about 115 seats left for the game Friday…which includes only 64 standing room outfield seats left out of a possible 1700+ ….in other words, get there early..it is going to be packed.
oops that was the picnic section I clicked on…still there are only about 500 lawn seats left, which means over 1200 have been sold already…like I said, packed
I would certainly expect a crowd ..opening night is always one of the biggest! Last year there were 8000 plus! I am guessing there will be more than that this year. Be prepared!
Jason, where is your pic? Now I have nothing for you to sign.
Stormin,
Expect a picture of Jason at his computer to be available soon for you.
I was going to replace that picture on my bio page, but I just never got around to it. I don’t mind being anonymous.
Did anyone see they had a clip of Von’s 2 hr’s in the 1st inning against the Mets in 1985 during the Phillies game last night? It couldn’t have been 23 years ago! (Im not that old or am I?)
Speaking of the Phils, rumor has it that Jimmy Rollins has a broken ankle! If it’s true we will be speculating why was he pinch hitting? On a positive note for the Phils, Chase Utley and Pat Burrell are fighting it out for the Triple Crown! I hope I can repeat the statement in August.
Jason – Will the uniform situation be straightened out this year that the guys will always have the same numbers? Last year when they wore different style uniforms the didn’t always keep the same number. Can’t wait for tomorrow night!
Do you know how to find out who is pitching on Sundays game?
If you go parachuting, and your parachute doesn’t open, and your friends are all watching you fall, I think a funny gag would be to pretend you were swimming.
GO STORMERS!!
Shannon,
Eric Ackerman goes Sunday.
Mr. B,
That sounds like Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey.
Can’T wait to see Ackerman on Sunday, anc good luck to the Stormers this weekend!!!! Baseball is finally here!!!
Jason–It totally is deep thoughts. I get a new one emailed to me everyday. I love passing on Mr. Handys wonderful incite. He’s touch in so many ways. He said he is allowed to because he’s certified.
