Jutt had a great slide home and avoided the tag. He got the job done. We definitely needed that run. I notice Von and Matt discussing this move before it was made and Matt was all for it. What a show of "team" by Matt. No hesitation on his part. Our lineup tonight had 11 hits, but we stranded 12 runners. We need to concentrate on bettering this stat as we move on into the second half. I thought it was a little gutsy pulling his bat out of the lineup, but we needed that run that Jutt scored. Matt hit the ball nicely all weekend, but he would not have scored on the hit to short. Ian looks great at first base. Except for a couple of miscues in the first game, he looked great at first base. He made a a few nice catches on a couple of high throws. Nice job this weekend Ian.
