This blog has become too Negative this Year???? ROFLMAO!!!!
Maybe the Teams performance over the last 2 Years has had something to do with it!! LOL

Negativity starts with the in crowd saying half truths and pointing fingers. When you only hear half of a story you can usually inflame a group of people one way or another. That is the way it starts on blogs and middle school. People walk different stations in life, just because you do not agree does not mean it is negative. Trying to read emotions is very hard on a blog, what you may feel is negative may just be how someone types.
BTW, just because you heard Nick say to the bull pen that his elbow hurt, does not mean that he told the right people. As SIY said the other day, Rick asks the pitchers how they feel before the game and reports that to Von. Maybe before the game he thought he was okay and did relay the pain until it was to late.

Dabulls, First Nick is not a freind he is just a player. And you could clearly see that he was not 100%. I choice what I post here very carefully. So that I do not let things out that are told to me by a player. Last night you could not help but hear Nick telling every body his elbow hurt. This year this blogg has become very negitive and nasty. I can say with confidence Quincy will not be the new player tonight.

Two things:

I know you, personally, didn't make any references to Sabatella but I've seen plenty of references to "revolving door" and Sabatella's on-field prowess lately and I just figured I'd point out that "you", as in everyone, can't have it both ways. If you want a team that sucks forever, fine. No more new players. But for every host family there are hundreds of people who, I'm sure, are really, REALLY tired of having a "home team" that couldn't claw it's way back up the standings if it's life depended on it. And next year it may well be that serious.

Second, I never considered being a host because my house was about the size of a refrigerator crate. Now I have a big house, extra vehicles and so on and while I'm considering it, I'm still not all gung ho into it and this is exactly why. Every minor league team I've ever seen has had a high turnover rate for one reason or another and although Lancaster had been an exception, I figured that HAD to change after last year's nasty reunion tour. I would have EXPECTED a lot of turnover this year and I do expect it for the foreseeable future. I'm not sure how well I would tolerate a parade of players through my house so while I'm considering it, my hosting a player is far from certain. Additionally, baseball is based on The Team being far more important than any of it's players. I doubt I could host a player without being somewhat upset if and when he was sent packing and that would warp my view of The Team. It's my personal opinion that the the team should look for donations and put players up in empty apartments in the city. Then there would be no conflicts at all.

All minor league teams are a revolving door. Players get better they move up. They don't get better they move down. Ever work at a company with a lot of turnover? It's the same thing. As fans it just make us work harder to know who the players are.

As Mark said, let's get players in here now to look at. I find it enjoyable to actually watch the new guys run out ground balls. No offense to Matt, but I think this is an area he could improve on and set an example as a leader on this team.

Mark:

I didn't complain about whether the revolving door was fair or not. That is not my place to say nor am I qualified to make such a determination.

My point was that it was making it hard for ME personally to connect with the team and call it "My team". That is my opinion and my personal experience. Also, if you look back at the posts I have made no references to Sabatella.

24) Complaining to you or telling the manager I can't go tonight? There is a big difference. Again why put the players in the middle of things. If I was on this team I would be afraid to say anything to my "friends" seeing it always ends up on the blog. If I am Von I confront Nick. How would you feel if he lost his job based on something that was posted here? As Tom Hanks said, "There is no crying in baseball".

30) I agree 100%. I know he is soooooo cute, but I would start with CF

36) Quincy?
