Great day for Atlantic League history. Go Stormers sweep York.
For all you Parker fans out there which is probably almost everyone
Parker got bumped to AAA at the end of the season and was able to go to the playoffs with that team. Once they got eliminated he went back to help the AA team until they were were unfortunately eliminated too. But at least both teams made it to the playoffs! Congrats to Parker for having a very successful season! Lancaster misses you!
Hey Zach….what are you doing Sunday????
Booby – Out of everyone on this blog, I think you make me laugh the most (and I mean that in a good way)
Way to go #22.
UBF…if you can’t have fun in life what’s the point????
You have a good point Booby! See you tonight!
Great job Zack!!!!
Who won the first game today?????
Hey Hey Texas Road House.. yes, we miss you.. come home soon, not the TX one
!!!!
According to atlanticleague.com. York 8-1
Game 2 got ugly Rleal quick.
Wow, this is embarrassing. Does anyone else thing we frequently look weak fundamentally?
Wow, that was embarrasing. How about “think” rather than “thing.”
Yes…little late to change now tho…lol
Oh Stormin.. that’s good !!!!
Is me or is the umpiring starting to look bad. I know alot of it is perception but certain umps seem to have a real varied strike zone.
Hope they start Hileman Sunday. This may be his final game here.
Hey guys thanks for a great season. I hope to see many of you on Sunday. I think we should also say a big thank you to the grounds crew for giving the guys a great field to play on day after day.
Can’t be there Sunday, but I hope you all have a great time. I’ll be in Dover at the race.
A bit pre-mature, but I wouild like to say “I thank you” to the boys of summer. I want to wish all the boys well in the off-season. Its been a tumultous year, ( I’m sure my spelling stinks), but enjoyable. I’ve gotten to know many players, on this team. I consider a few of them close friends. I wish them well in there future endeavours!
Oh. And by the way I’ve been to York the past 2 seasons. It hasn’t been that bad. Just win and lose with respect. The folks over there haven’t figured that out yet.
We had some York fans in front of us last night and they were great. They were behind their team, cheering, and not getting nasty about the fact they were clobbering us. My hats off to them.
Stormin- That’s nice to hear. I’ve always sat in section 16 in York and for the most part it has been enjoyable. The ultimate goal in this whole thing is to respect the great game of baseball. I still have the Phils. Oh yea, the Eagles, Flyers, Sixers, and Penn State. I hope eveyone has a great winter!
We had an obnoxious fan in section 10 on Saturday night. She couldnt just cheer for her team. She had to make sure she was obnoxious also. I am glad she cheers for her team but she could lose the attitude.
Stormin in York, your welcome! Deuce you are right about respecting the game
Here’s to a great 2009 season!
