RECORD: 3-2 (36-39)
The Barnstormers are 6-3 on this 11-game road trip, which means they have clinched a winning record. For a team that started this journey 4-22 in games outside of the Susquehanna Valley, this has been a big step forward. In order to contend in the second half, the team needed to prove it could win away from the Clip. It has done so.
Credit for Tuesday night’s victory should be handed to the bullpen, which worked 6 2/3 scoreless innings and allowed just two hits. Juan Ovalles and Nick Abel did the heavy lifting, combining for 4 2/3 innings.
The good news for the Barnstormers is York finally lost a one-run game Tuesday night. The bad news is everyone in the Freedom Division is off to a good start. The entire division has a winning record.

Other positives-
The team played errorless ball last night.
No unexplainable Barnstormer trades or releases were made in the past 24-hours.
The bullpen was impressive and pitchers seemed to be given enough rope, but not enough to hang themselves.
Campbell has raised his BA around 30-points since he started playing everyday-solidifying the outfield for the second half.
Lloyd Turner at 2B is a good thing for Lancaster and his hitting at the leadoff spot is very solid right now.
Haran threw out his 4th baserunner (and the 3rd who didn’t fall down) the other night and he!! is not frozen over.
The team has a winning road trip in its pocket-let’s hope their success at home remains the same —BR— before the last Revs series.
I listened to the LI broadcast last night. It was a little bias which is fine, but it was also refreshing. A good way to find out details about the other team.
GFoster to HOF.
GFoster IS NOT in the HOF
Yankees still suck
MMantle’s medication will be here in a few days
Newcomer Sabatella scores both Captains runs in 2-1 victory
Sabatella became the second Captains player after Jose Torres to steal two bases in a game this season
Good start for him…
I hope he hits .400+ and steals 30 Bases…and when the Stormers call next Winter , I hope he flips the bird to whomever calls him.
Ditto Booby !!!!
MMantle needs no medications. A cold PBR and a shot of whiskey will do.

How many world championships do the NYYankees have?
Threepeat on your comment Booby. The bridges are burning in Lancaster.
Isn’t TTrash dead?
I sure do have a lot of friends here and in the afterlife *put the doggone cigar out Babe.*
We’re sliding back…what positives do you enjoy about Lancaster Barnstormers baseball?
Here’s my positive-Amadeo, since being traded, is batting at .300 and reported as being the “bestt SS” in his new league. Goooo Z! Way to go Sab! And way to go Francia!! Oh, and they serve great pizza and I adore Moe, Kaye, Emily, Pan and miss Kristy.
Once a Stormer….always a Stormer!
I’ve also noted that the error-less games are on the rise. I’m not seeing as many multiple error games, either. It’s nice to see. I think it has helped tremendously with this current win-loss record we got going on the road trip.
Good luck tonight, guys! Take another one away from the Ducks this evening and enjoy your day off and trip home.
Can’t wait until you get back to Lancaster and play once more at the Clipp.

Agreed, the defense certainly looks to be improving.
LOL.. stormers08.. those are some great ballplayers that were “traded” for what? Future consideration…HAH!!
Dave.. I can’t hear you???
Commercials come thru loud and clear.. but no Dave
aww, there you are.. Missed Dave…
Love the new avatar Rad!
Go Barnstormers!
I thought it would be a brownie
More good news for today….
York lost again tonight, and they lost badly…11-1
I changed it to a brownie this morning.. it’s taking forever to change.. so much for the surprise for you guys.
York played bad, lots of goofs.. dropped balls, over thrown balls…
The One hit they got was a home run …
I thought the Barnstormers played good enough to win tonight, but ran into good lil’ lefty. It also helped that the umpire was calling a 30″ wide strike zone. The catchers were throwing their glove way outside to catch these special “strikes.”
A lot of good defensive plays by both teams with the balls being thrown to the right base and the correct cutoff guys. It makes games much more enjoyable.
Looks like vonhERR is going to have a quick trigger and pull pitchers who don’t perform right away. This will make the staff more focused.
A win tomorrow gives the team a 7-4 road trip and that ain’t bad starting the 2nd half.
The Barnstormers will be in first place after the Revs series.
The brownies look to have a little puffiness….maybe a lil’ hashese?
TTresh to HOS.
About time someone gets a quick trigger finger on RP being pulled. It’s been a problem all season. Too many guys have been hung out to dry when they didn’t have good stuff that day.
No MM.. No “special” Brownies.
Eric Junge had his first start for the Hanwha Eagles tonight against the Lotte Giants.
His line: 5.2 innings, 3 earned runs, 2 walks, 3 K’s, 1 HBP, 7 hits, 1 HR
He got the no decision as the game is currently in extra innings and the Eagles’ closer blew the save.
