Looking forward to a beautiful and exciting nite at The Clip!
As the video says, winning is a game of inches and tonight we were on the short end of inch.
Sorry, should say short end of THE inch.
Let me say that Antonio was right ON last night! Nice work Alfie
Well, that ends that. The fat lady has sung. It’s all over. It’s been fun, sometimes, but more frustrating than any Season I’ve followed this Team.
There is as much , if not more talent on this Team than there was when they won the Championship. That Team wouldn’t lose, this one finds a way to lose.
I talked to Jason last night and it looks like this will be the end of the Blog too.
No matter what your personal opinions are about the Team or the people on this blog, I’d just like to say that I have thouroughly enjoyed this. This blog has the most passionate Baseball fans in the Atlantic League. The popularity of this Team in this City and County has been built by the people on this site.
Mr. Danos, Jason Guarante has done MORE than any other person to promote this Team. He deserves a huge amount of credit for making this Team successful for you and your Partners. If you let this man leave this business, you are making a HUGE mistake. LNP could care less about your Team. Heck, they send Editions out to the edges of the County with NO article about the Team on given days!
You are all great fans and I wish you well. It’s really never been personal…..well…in MMantle’s case maybe a little
I’m out.
Cooper hit a double in the opening game and Dave Collins pronounced him as the possible “missing piece” to getting into the playoffs.
He is now hitting .111 with one hit. He also had an error last night that contributed to the loss.
His .169 average and release by the Mets was no accident and this is a perfect example of why the Barnstormers will miss the playoffs this year and into the future. NOTHING will change with the leadership in place now.
But hey, it’s butts in the seats and there’s no minor league program that has as many or as quirkey promotions as Lancaster to do that. It’s certainly not the product on the field.
Booby say it isn’t so!!! You can’t leave us now! Come on stick it with all us die hard fans.
