It wasn’t quite as dramatic or thrilling as Aaron Herr’s game-winning homer Friday night, but Monday’s walk-off E-5 — also with Herr at the plate — moved the Barnstormers back within 5.5 games of Long Island for the final playoff spot. The Liberty Division, meanwhile, is quietly in danger of becoming interesting. First-half champ Southern Maryland’s lead is down to four games and the Blue Crabs have lost six in a row.

Hmmm, no one gets on the blog when the team wins big.
Congrats Aaron, you’ve come a long way baby!!!
See y’all at the Clipp this afternoon
Syd, sounds like an easy way for the ‘Stormers to go undefeated the rest of the season, no?
This is a different team on the feild the last two weeks. Way to go Aaron.
This team was super-charged last evening! What the heck got into them? Inquiring minds want to know…
Okay, I understand that the Blue Crabs are already in the playoffs, but this Md. pitcher (Ramsey) had a great ERA until he got hammered by the “Boyz of Summer!”
Good job and it was a lot of fun watching the 1st inning batting practice. Thanks!
1:00 p.m. game today. Sun is shining right now in Willow Street… Scatter showers below us in Md.
We are prepping for those two huge nuclear generators to make there way through our tiny town… (see this morning’s paper). 3 mph pace may make for a long trip to TMI… “Are we there yet?” A ton of roadwork down this way, outside of Conestoge, and up along Rt. 441 on bridges, etc. What a major undertaking and a once in a lifetime sight!
Baseball and nuclear generators… What more could we ask for!?

Can’t wait to see those generators go through Willow Street.. That will be a sight.
