Winning 6-0 this afternoon so far
Didnt they do this though last year (get hot at the end when it was all but too late)?
It’s must be the magic Milkeyways I dropped off for the clubhouse!
i like this “new” team. we may not make it to the playoffs, but the end of the season will certainly be more uplifting if they play like this the rest of the way!
It was tough watching Gannon pitch today. Not Knuckle ball weather, it looked as if he was pitching batting practice for middle schoolers. 65 mph pitches come on… and they left him in for 6 innings…who does that.
I can’t believe the game went all nine innings.. if it wasn’t for the umbrella girls, I would have been soaked…. Thanks Tonia.
A well earned day off tomorrow and off to Dominate Ddork Friday
Hey syd that’s Tara. I agree were has this team been all season.
Southern Maryland laying down for whatever reason. They’ve lost some productive players and will struggle in playoffs and exit quickly if they play like this.
Herr and Mulhern lost this season with their defense and inability to get a clutch hit in games earlier this summer. Plus tons of runs score when the other team can steal bases at will.
The only thing happening now is a year-end tease.
I disagree…this cannot be laid at the feet of two players. It was a team effort that caused this season – poor pitching, poor defense, too many left on base…
Didn’t we have a year end tease last year? nonetheless, it is still nice to see a little passion from the boys.
You just gotta BELIEVE!
Oh Ultimate.. that’s Tug’s quote..
Kelley.. ” Tara, Tonia”.. at least I’m in the same letter of the alphabet?? LOL j/k.
See eveyone in Dork tomorrow??
Have a 3rd base coach who is aggressive and not afraid to send the runners has been the big difference I have seen. It was frustrating earlier in the year to see Von holding guys up when it would take a perfect chance to get them out.
Turning point of the season was game 116. Ryan’s aggresive baserunning got us a win in the 9th and the streak started from there (Go back and read PackMules’s comments). At this point keep playing hard and hope for the best.
Frankly scarlett5 I do give a damn.
DaBulls…very nice use of “Gone with the Wind” quote. definitely appreciated…
i give a damn too…i have all season. its so nice to see this team turning things around. i know its a long shot, but i’m hoping to have to clear my schedule in a couple weeks to make it to all the playoff games! we’ll see how far positive thinking can get us.
I see on the official Atlantic League website that Lancaster has made quite a few transactions these past few days.
Of course, half of the player names are spelled wrong and most of Lancaster’s transactions weren’t even for Lancaster.
I shudder to think about next season and how that site will be our main source of all things Atlantic League.
*shakes his head*
We’ve definately been spoiled. We’ll miss you Jason!

Keep on winning, guys. I understand that if the Blue Crabs fall out of first place, it will remove one of the two wild card spots… Dang! It’s like a lose-lose situation even though we are now winning. :-/
I’d hate to not have the blog up and running next season. Maybe the BS admin. will realize that this may be the only place they don’t get candy-coated responses like… “Everything is fine” or “We just love everything”.
This blog is about true fans giving honest responses to numerous issues associated with the BS… administration, management, players, strategies, acquisitions, and much more.
Most bloggers on this site articulate quite well on their observations and feelings towards the game of baseball and the Stormers. I appreciate the openness of our bloggers for not holding back and yet remaining civil for the most part.
I do believe that key Barnstormer personnel read this blog every day and gleam information from it to improve issues at the Clipp. It would be foolish for them not to read closely and keep their finger on the pulse of the dedicated fans that write here.

Wildcard spot or not, Win or Lose, Good, bad or ugly, I am going to enjoy every second of the rest of this season for however long it lasts! We need some of those magic brownies Rad so get baking!
I’ll bake this weekend.
I have been wrong every time this season sooooo, I
doubt they’ll get the game in tonight. It’s supposed to rain all day. ( which means the skies will clear and the sun will soon shine!)
Sorry I will miss the series in Dork! Go Barnstormers!
