AtlanticLeagueBaseball.com reports that the Harrisburg Senators have released Juan Melo. The infielder batted .239 with four homers and 23 RBIs in 54 games for the Washington Nationals’ Double-A club.

Hempfield graduate Aaron Herr has earned a spot with the Reds’ Triple-A club in Louisville. He split time between Louisville and Double-A Chattanooga last season.
