The Barnstormers have signed former major leaguers Felix Jose and Chris Brock. They will be with the team when it opens the second half in York tonight.

The Bluefish finally got around to announcing their first player acquisitions.
Among the 11 under contract is catcher John Nathans, who played part of 2005 with the Barnstormers. Nathans batted .215 with one homer and 11 RBIs in 52 games with the Bluefish and Newark Bears last season.

Josh Stevens has officially been re-acquired from the Nashua Pride in exchange for future considerations. Stevens went 2-0 with 2.63 ERA in two starts for the Barnstormers in September and was the winning pitcher in Game 2 of the team’s playoff series against Atlantic City.
